In November 2004, with the help of some very good friends, Charles Bentley, Store Manager at Giant, Upper Marlboro, Maryland, Veracruz and Franklin Okojie, my neighbor Carl and the faithful patrons at Cafe' Roma, we were able to provide 95, yes 95 families with turkeys and fixins for Thanksgiving. Our appreciation goes out to all who helped us to accomplish this goal. It was a goal that seemed to be unattainable, but we did it. The Helping Hand II Social Club hopes everyone had a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!
